Rachelle Garcia Seliga is a Mother, Wife, and Certified Professional Midwife, with 18 years of experience working within the realms of holistic women’s health care. She is the Creator and Director of INNATE Traditions Postpartum Care Trainings; which offer a framework of postpartum wellness to birth and health care providers worldwide. All of Rachelle’s work is dedicated to midwifing a cultural shift – honoring our innate wisdom, personal authority, and the sanctity of Life.
In the first part of our conversation, we speak about why balance is unrealistic, why postpartum pathology is a valid response to lack of community and ways we can begin to really mother the mother.

Yoli Maya Yeh is a Yoga & Shiatsu Therapist and Educator in Comparative Religions and Global Studies.
Yoli works at the intersection of Indigenous Preservation, Healing Arts and Social Justice. Raised in her family's Native American spiritual teachings, Yoli spent twelve years of her young adulthood studying language, yoga, tantra, healing arts and meditation in India. She blends her understandings of Indigenous wisdom teachings, mind-body science, yogic discipline, and play into programs for all.

Through her popular Instagram feed @herholisticpath she guides women to prepare for the best births they can. Here she speaks honestly about her own pregnancies and births, and the shortcomings of the medical system.
She honestly shares about the challenges of modern motherhood without the support of a village and the ways she supports herself to keep learning and growing through it.
I really loved this conversation, Olivyah is so honest about her journey and the issues she has with the spiritual and wellness industries. She is passionate and there is so much wisdom, as well as practical tips in here.

Dr. Rocío Rosales Meza is an intuitive, energy worker, healer, and coach. She has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and is a Reiki Master. She has helped hundreds of women of colour on their spiritual journey of decolonization. Her values lie in anti-oppressive, decolonial, liberation work and in collective healing.
Dr Rosales Meza has such a gentle delivery but her words are strong and powerful. She speaks about how motherhood began her healing and liberation and talks about the ways we can truly begin to consciously decolonize our own minds and lives.

Malaika Maitland is a yoga therapist and Mama Glow Doula. She is also the co-founder of Spice Harmony Yoga studio in Grenada, in the Caribbean, where she lives and works.
We discuss her experience supporting other women through pregnancy and birth, whilst also being pregnant herself. She shares about her home birth, the landscape of medicalised birth in the Caribbean and ways we can break intergenerational patterns and cycles through conscious relationships.
She explores what it means to consciously and mindfully love ourselves through new motherhood and the effects of new parenthood on a relationship.
